Christopher Thierry


Christopher is the president, founder, and driving force behind Etelesolv, a company he started back in 2000 that is now called Cimpl. Cimpl is the culmination of a dream to bring holistic enterprise solutions to companies of all shapes and sizes. His forward-looking vision helped propel Cimpl from a technology start-up to its current status as Canada's market leader in technology expense management software.  Moreover, Christopher’s devotion to the well-being of his employees has elevated Cimpl to being one of Canada’s Top 50 Employers. His dedication was also acknowledge by the Canadian Telecom Summit as Chris was awarded the Top CEO Award in IT for 2018.

Christopher’s dedication to nurturing people extends far beyond Cimpl. In his commitment to give back to his community, Christopher also serves in multiple industry associations. Christopher is a mentor for the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (www.cybf.ca) and a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (www.ypo.org). He is also a contributing member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (www.eonetwork.org), the CIO Association of Canada (www.ciocan.ca), and the Enterprise Technology Management Association (www.etma.org). At ETMA, he is a founding member of the ethics committee even as he sits on the executive board.

Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. He is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) Entrepreneur’s Master’s Program – a program specifically designed to optimize the skillsets of founders of high growth companies.

Carrie Davis-Sydor

Carrie Davis-Sydor

Vice-President, Sales & Alliances

Carrie is an experienced sales professional and communications consultant with a passion for technology. Her background spans business development, marketing, and public relations consulting. In her early career, Carrie helped start a value-added IT reseller, which grew to $20-million in sales before being sold in 2000. With more than 20 years of professional experience in the IT and telecom industries, Carrie has worked with both large and small organizations, driving business initiatives and working with top-level executives. She also was awarded with CDN's Mentor of The Year Award for 2017.

In her former role of Director, Channels and Alliances at Cimpl, she drove significant growth for our wide range of partners, helping them leverage our product suite to increase business and complement service offerings. Carrie’s affability, along with her experience, will greatly enhance her work of helping our clients streamline and reduce telecom and IT expenses. In her role as Vice-President, Sales and Alliances she continues to focus on Cimpl’s fundamental mission of helping customers save money, save time and accurately manage their inventory.

Naga Nagasundaram

Director of Finance

Naga began his tenure at Cimpl in 2007. Since then, Naga has been instrumental in ensuring Cimpl’s financial control and accountability at every phase of its rapid growth.

Naga’s expertise covers a broad range of domains including short and long-term financial plan design, investment management, financial problem-solving, corrective action plan implementation, and compliance. He has drawn upon these skills to implement dynamic budgeting, financial planning, internal controls, financial analyses, and financial audits for Cimpl.

Naga has also worked closely with the federal and provincial governments to attract tax credits and subsidies for research and development, employee training, and hiring.

Prior to Cimpl, Naga lived in and traveled to many countries in Europe, allowing him to learn four languages and to adapt to multiple cultures from around the world.

Outside of work, Naga embraces his community by donating his financial expertise and his valuable time to a variety of non-profit organizations.


Youssef Ikram

Vice-President, Research & Development

Cimpl has benefited from Youssef’s mastery of web development and system architecture since 2006. Youssef oversees Cimpl’s multiple operational teams responsible for project management, support desk, implementation, and quality assurance. Under his leadership Cimpl has grown operations considerably, increasing customer satisfaction and delivery timelines.

Prior to Cimpl, Youssef was in web development. During this time he implemented a variety of transactional solutions for many major banks, credit unions, and e-commerce sites.

In his spare time, Youssef combines his passion for programming with his genuinely altruistic spirit by designing, creating, and donating professional-calibre, money-earning applications to various community and non-profit organizations.  

Youssef holds both a Certificate in Enterprise Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Moroccan School for Engineering Sciences.

Vincent Parisien

Vice-President, Technology

Vincent has spent over a decade pioneering new technology management processes and systems. Beginning in 2005, his patented and innovative contributions to Cimpl’s product line have helped propel the company to the position of Canadian leader in technology asset management services.

Vincent's role at Cimpl has evolved from developing the first-generation product to being responsible for technology partnerships and acting as the driver of the Cimpl product roadmap.

Prior to Cimpl, Vincent was Project Manager and Lead Developer for Telecom Services at the RBC Financial Group, where he designed and implemented a customized telecom management solution that saved the bank millions of dollars annually in ongoing service cost reductions.

Not content to be a mere technology leader, Vincent is also a literal trailblazer. In his spare time, Vincent builds and maintains dune buggies – with which he visits every state in America, once per year.

Vincent was trained as a programmer at CDI and has full Mini-MBA certification from McGill University.
